日本で生活する中で、私が楽しんでいることの一つが、言語交流会に参加し、さまざまな背景を持つ人たちと出会うことです。

言語交流では、日本語の言葉がなかなか出てこないこともあります。でも時間が経つにつれて、ひとつ気づいたことがあります。人は言葉を完全に理解する前に、優しさや誠実さ、そして忍耐を感じ取ってくれることがある、ということです。

日本での生活を通して、人とのつながりは完璧なコミュニケーションによって生まれるのではないと感じています。時には、「伝えようとする気持ち」そのものから始まるのかもしれません。

One of the experiences I’ve enjoyed while living in Japan has been participating in language exchange gatherings and meeting people from many different backgrounds.

At language exchange, I sometimes struggle to find the right Japanese words. But over time, I’ve noticed something interesting. People often understand kindness, sincerity, and patience long before they fully understand the language itself.

Living in Japan has reminded me that connection is not built on perfect communication. Sometimes, it begins simply with the willingness to try.
